April 2016 Stamp of the Month Bloghop

Hello and welcome to my post for the April 2016 SOTM Bloghop featuring "Life in Pictures".

I am one of 29 CTMH, participating consultants.  You will encounter wonderful examples of ways these fine folks used "Life in Pictures".  Just hop onboard the revolving train and look for links in each person's post for where you'll hop next.  Eventually you'll make your way back to your starting point.

Maybe you hopped to me from Helen's blog.  Glad you are here now.  Your next stop will be Donna's blog.

But for now, here is what I made with "Life in Pictures".  It's an easel card!

I wanted to celebrate relationships by creating a card as a photo op suggestion for recipients.  I think the whole stamp set lends itself to scrapbooking a special event.  But what to do for card makers was my question.  I think it works!

I used Life in Pictures Stamp Set, Birthday Calligraphy Stamp Set, the Art Philosphy cartridge, Springtime Wishes Thin Cuts for the flower, Sapphire Cardstock, Desert Sand Cardstock, Colonial White Cardstock, Regatta B&T, Tuxedo Black Ink, a retired Pearl Gem, retired Colonial White Designer Ribbon, a retired clear button with black Waxy Flax (also retired) threaded through the holes, a sheer ribbon from a craft store, Base & Bling Adhesive Strips, Mini Glue Dots, 3L E-Z Dots Adhesive, Floral Embossing Folder, Non-stick Micro-tip Scissors, a paper trimmer, and our soon-to-be retired Score Board.

It was a multi-stepped card which is challenging, but so worth the effort!

Remember that the April Stamp of the Month is available April 1 to April 30.  You can order yours on my shopping site, www.papercraftingwithheart.ctmh.com.  It retails for $17.95 or just $5 with a qualifying order of $50.

Thanks for stopping by!  Nancy
